“New Year, New Me”. The new year is around the corner and you must have heard many of your friends saying this phrase, resolving to be make positive changes in their lives with a desire for personal growth, improvement, or the opportunity for a fresh start.

This year, don’t just say, manifest it. If you’re embracing the idea of a “new you” in the new year, here are some tips to help you along the way:

In the vast canvas of life, the art of manifestation serves as the brushstroke that brings our dreams and desires into tangible existence. The power of turning aspirations into reality lies within the intricate dance between intention, belief, visualisation and action. Manifestation is not a mystical or elusive concept; rather, it is a deliberate and conscious process that engages our thoughts, emotions, and actions. At its core, manifestation involves aligning our inner world with our outer reality, paving the way for the fulfilment of our deepest desires.

Here are some ways how you, too, can manifest your dreams and turn them into reality this year.

1. Set your intention!

Sit back and think of your goal or target for this year. Be it being promoted to a certain post, joining your dream company, living a healthy lifestyle or starting a new habit, be specific of your goal. The more specific and vivid your vision, the easier it becomes to manifest.

Remember, the goal should be SMART: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Time bound.

For example, instead of manifesting for your dream car, develop an image of the type of car, its characteristics, qualities and features you would like.

2. Visualise your goal!

Once you have identified your goals, write them down on a piece of paper, phone or your computer. By vividly foreseeing your goals, you will be encouraged to create a mental image that can positively impact your actions and decisions.

Positive affirmations and optimistic thinking act as catalysts for manifestation. Use the “Law of Attraction” (from the book “The Secret by Rhonda Byrne”), which asserts that like attracts like. The idea is that the energy you emit, whether positive or negative, attracts similar energy in return. Replace self-limiting beliefs with empowering thoughts that reinforce the belief in your ability to achieve your dreams. Cultivate a mindset that is open to possibilities and abundance.

3. Take action!

While thoughts and emotions are pivotal, they must be accompanied by intentional action. Manifestation is not a passive process; it requires us to actively pursue our goals. Break down your dreams into actionable steps and consistently work towards them where each step forward reinforces your commitment to the manifestation process. However, consistent efforts over time are crucial. Regularly revisit your goals, assess your progress, and make adjustments to your plan as needed.
